Location: Freetown, with regular visits to the Provinces
Contract:
Three months and possibility of renewal based on performance

context of the role
The Programme Officer Safe Spaces and Learning plays a lead role in supporting partners’ activities at the safe spaces. They will have significant responsibility in overseeing partners’ safe spaces with focus on education and inclusion. The Programme Officer must maintain an in-depth knowledge of running adolescent safe spaces, learning and the inclusion of girls with disabilities.  The purpose of the position is also to work with the specific partners including the MEST, Population Council and the Disability and Inclusion Partner (DIP) in supporting the work of the Consortium.

Provide expertise and team leadership in management of the literacy/numeracy component of the SAGE initiative, with responsibility to:
